A New Vision for Texas Education

I’m running for the Texas State Board of Education because I believe Texas students deserve strong public schools free from partisan political agendas. I support rigorous academic standards, respect for local communities, transparency, and a curriculum that teaches students how to think, not what to think.

My campaign is focused on restoring trust in public education by putting students, teachers, and families first. I believe classrooms should be places where history is taught honestly, literature broadens perspectives, science follows evidence, and every student is given the opportunity to succeed.

When elected, I will bring the perspective of a classroom teacher, the preparation of an educational leader, and the commitment of a Texas parent to the State Board of Education. I’m running to ensure that the decisions made in Austin reflect the needs of the 5.5 million students who depend on Texas public schools every day.
