Meet Tiffany Perkinz

Born and raised in Southeast Texas, I’ve spent more than a decade in education. I’ve taught middle and high school English in both public and private schools, served as an adjunct English instructor at Lamar University, and earned the respect of students and families through a classroom centered on academic excellence, curiosity, and compassion.

I hold a Master of Arts in English, a Master of Education in Administration, and I’m certified to teach English Language Arts in grades 7–12 in Texas. Throughout my career, I’ve taught literature, composition, and writing while helping students develop the critical thinking skills they need to succeed in college, careers, and civic life.

Outside the classroom, I’m a freelance editor and writer who has helped authors, students, and professionals strengthen their writing. I also teach online courses, expanding educational opportunities for students beyond the traditional classroom.

As a mother raising six children in Texas public schools, I understands education from both sides of the desk. I’ve attended school board meetings, advocated for students and teachers, volunteered in schools, and witnessed firsthand the challenges facing classrooms across the state. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that every child deserves an honest, high-quality education that prepares them to think independently, solve problems, and participate fully in our democracy.
